My husband began this painting of irises a few years back now. Its very unfinished in his eyes but I have always loved it as it is. In fact, every time he tries to finish it I make him promise not to lose the painterly effect of it, because I have become so used to seeing it this way. Silly me cos I would still love him to finish it.

Oh Bren, so talented! I like it just the way it is AND I have a degree in Art History and Theory, so I am fully qualified to say so!! They say an artist never really feels like they've finished a painting. imagine if you just worked on one painting all your life?! still, better than none. I wish I could paint - alas, I am just an admirer and appreciator of other's efforts.
